About Us
Shree Krishnapran Charity Trust was founded in the year 1942 by Padma Vibhushan (Late) Shri G.D. Birla, with Dr. S. Radhakrishna, Ms. Mahima Pedal, and other great personalities of that time as founder Trustees. The trust was envisioned as a beacon of cultural and educational advancement, rooted in the values of service, tradition, and innovation.
Its primary objectives are to encourage, improve, and support the study of Hindu Religion and Philosophy, literature, art, and science—both technical and applied. This is achieved through the founding and nurturing of institutions such as schools, colleges, pathshalas, libraries, and reading rooms. The trust continues to uphold its legacy by fostering environments where knowledge, ethics, and creativity flourish.
Over the decades, the trust has played a pivotal role in shaping educational landscapes, empowering communities, and preserving cultural heritage. Its commitment to excellence and inclusivity remains a guiding force behind every initiative it undertakes.
